This evening the Minneapolis 444.750 repeater was upgraded from the Yaesu DR-1X to a “new-ish” Harris Mastr III. This repeater has noticeably improved receiver sensitivity and selectivity, and it is noticeably quicker setting up DMR calls. Power output is 80 watts. This repeater covers all of Ottawa county and most of Lincoln and Saline counties.
The repeater callsign was also upgraded to N7KLR to recognize her contributions to the amateur community.
This repeater runs Pi-Star software with the N3XCC version 3 MMDVM board.
